Autism Helping Autism, Inc. Our mission is to empower them by teaching essential life skills, fostering independence, and facilitating job placement through partnerships with local and national companies. Sadly, statistics show that only 35 percent of young adults with autism attend college, and only 55 percent secure employment within the first six years after high school. Compared to those with other disabilities, individuals on the spectrum face a greater than 50 percent chance of being unemployed or not attending college. At Autism Helping Autism, we strive to make a positive impact on our community. Our dedicated members and volunteers form the driving force behind our efforts. We offer vital services to autistic individuals, parents, prospective employers, and HR departments seeking to hire autistic talent. Our comprehensive approach includes advocacy, education, and resources. We provide job search assistance, resume building, coaching, and employer engagement. We also educate the community about autism and offer valuable resources to those seeking more information. Join us in making a lasting difference in the lives of autistic individuals and their communities.
